Veteran Appreciation Scholarship

Open to students at any campus who are veterans of the U.S. military. Preference given to any retired U.S. Special Forces soldier, and additional preference given to students at Superior or Ashland campuses. Scholarship recipients are required to submit thank you letters and letters of introduction, and to have photos taken with awards and college officials, to be sent to honored soldiers or their widows.

These scholarships are in memory of Command Sgt. Major (ret) Frank McFadden and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Jonathan Farmer, and in honor of Command Sgt. Major (ret) Michael Cunningham, Master Sgt. (ret) Joel Pruitt, Master Sgt. (ret) Israel Betanzos, Master Sgt. (ret) Chris Spence, Chief Warrant Officer 5 (ret) Jamie Korenoski, Sgt. Major (ret) Terry Pevehouse, Lt. Colonel (ret) Mike Trotter, and Chief Warrant Officer 4 Josh Burch.
