Impact

To All Whom It Pertains,
Thank you so much for funding the Superior Alumni Association Millennium Scholarship of $625. I am Brittany Miller, a thirty-five-year-old woman who is returning to school to receive a nursing degree. Currently, I work as a certified nursing assistant at the assisted/memory care facility Edgewood Healthcare in Hermantown, Minnesota. In the fall of this year, I am attending Northwood Technical College in Superior, Wisconsin to finish pre-requisite classes to begin the registered nursing program the following semester. As I have said previously; I am thirty-five years old and from my scholarship essay, I did say that I had graduated with a bachelor’s in arts degree from University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2013. Though I had not pursued a career in art therapy afterwards, the degree has helped me in completing pre-requisite courses for the nursing program. I have found my passion in health care and now the hardest part for me is school funding and less hours for working to be able to financially attend school. With your generous scholarship, that burden has been lifted immensely. You do not know how important this scholarship means and I cannot show enough gratitude. Thank you so very much.
Sincerely,
Brittany
