Steven C. Leino Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship supports Superior students in accounting/finance or automotive tech in memory of Steven C. Leino, an accounting alumnus (1969) and lifelong motorhead.

Steve would tell you that education changed his life, and it can do the same for you. His advice would be, "Work hard and when you get the chance, do a little extra to help someone else.”

Steve was a practical person who lived those words, doing car and home repairs, helping with taxes, mowing lawns, volunteering, giving rides and pep talks, moving furniture, and organizing events to bring people together. He showed up for our community with optimism, a work ethic, and some really great stories.

Steve’s wife, family and friends established this scholarship in his memory. We hope recipients will carry forward Steve’s spirit by doing a little extra in their own way.
