Arthur Cline Business Scholarship
Arthur Cline Jr. was born in Indiana, graduated with a BS in Engineering and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Michigan, served as a lieutenant commander in the US Navy during World War II and then worked for 20 years in international licensing and sales.
For the last 15 years of his career he worked for Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College (now Northwood Technical College), where he was instrumental in implementing the Associate Degree in supervisory management in the Superior region and served as the business and industry specialist/supervisor for WITC-Superior until his retirement in 1991. He was recognized by WITC and his students as an outstanding teacher and often said that he felt his entire life and career were just a preparation for this important role.
His family has funded this scholarship to honor his commitment to this program.
This endowment now offers one award of $750 per year.
Impact
Dear Donor,
Thank you SO much for funding your scholarship! This means the world to me. This has been a challenge trying to balance working full time, going to school, and managing life, but I have a great support system behind me, and I know that I will be able to accomplish the goals that I have set for myself. I am so excited to finally be able to accomplish my goal that I have put aside for so long. Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Sarah C.
